Heifers calves traded 2 to 5 higher.

Weigh cows traded steady to 2 higher.  Bulls traded steady.

Steer calves traded 5 to 8 lower.

Heifers calves traded 3 to 5 lower.

There is a good demand for long weaned calves.  Demand was light for unweaned calves due to the high/low temperature swings this time of year.

Weigh cows and bulls 5-7 lower.

300 to 700 lb Heifers traded 3 to 6 lower.

There is a high demand for weaned calves right now; buyers are having a lot of health issues with the unweaned cattle due to the temperature swings.

Weigh cows and bulls traded 4 lower.

Compared to last week:

We had our Arkansas Green Tag Precondition Sale today.  It was a great success.  The buyers are much more familiar with the program and it showed with todays sale prices.  We sold a nice set of 112 heifers 616# 146.75 cwt. and the steer mates 649# 154.50cwt.

Steer calves traded 7 to 10 higher. Heifer calves traded 5 to 7 higher.

Weigh cows and bulls traded steady.
