Calves traded steady to 5 higher.  We had a lot of activity and the market was good.

300-650# Steers calves traded 10-14 higher.  700- 800# Steers traded steady.  Heifers traded 3-7 higher.

Weigh cows traded steady.  Weigh bulls traded steady.

Heifers calves traded steady to 3 lower.

Weigh cows traded steady to 2 higher.  Bulls traded steady.

Heifers calves traded 3 to 5 lower.

There is a good demand for long weaned calves.  Demand was light for unweaned calves due to the high/low temperature swings this time of year.

Weigh cows and bulls 5-7 lower.

300 to 700 lb Heifers traded 3 to 6 lower.

There is a high demand for weaned calves right now; buyers are having a lot of health issues with the unweaned cattle due to the temperature swings.

Weigh cows and bulls traded 4 lower.

Next Week; 10/16/19 we will be having a local cow herd dispersal of 150 cows!!!
