Compared to last week:

Last week we had a prevac sale along with our regular sale with several large groups of cattle.  Today the unweaned calves would be 2 to 3 lower.

Weigh cows and bulls traded fully steady.

• Two really nice sets of local cows next week; March 4th. 

Compared to last week:

The weaned calves today were 3-4 higher. The unweaned steer calves were steady to 4 lower and the unweaned heifers traded steady to 3 higher.  The highlight of the day were the ‘all natural’ long-time weaned calves.

Weigh cows and bulls traded fully steady.

• Prevac Sale February 26th!!!

Compared to two weeks ago:

We had several really good, long time weaned calves this week.  The weaned calves would have been 5 to 7 higher and the bawling calves would have been steady to 2 higher.

Weigh cows and bulls traded 2 higher.

• Next Week February 5th we will have a herd of really nice home raised black cows 4-6 yr old.  They will start calving the end of Febuary.

Next week January 15th; We will have a precondition sale!

Compared to the last sale on December 18th:

Calves traded mostly steady to 5 higher.  We are starting to see more weaned cattle come to town.  A weaned calf was 5 to 10 higher.  We had a lot of activity and the market was good.

Weigh cows and bulls traded 2 lower.
