Steers this week were steady to $10 higher. 4 and 5 weight heifers were $10-$30 higher with remaining heifers steady to $7 higher. Weigh cows and bulls were steady to $2 lower.

Market was mostly $5-$10 higher than last week except for 475-550lb steers which were steady. Weigh cows and bulls were steady to $3 lower.

Market was mostly $5-$25 lower. Some classes showed even more pressure as the weather is starting to change and health has become a factor for buyers. Feeder futures were $9-$25 down on Tuesday contributing to down day. Weaned cattle are still in high demand and will pay a premium over fat calve off the cow.

Today’s offering was mostly new crop calves. I would call it steady except for 4 weight heifers, which were $5-$15 higher. Weigh cows and bulls were steady.
