Cattlemen's Livestock Auction Frequently Asked Questions
Cattle Sales are every Tuesday at 12 pm.
Sheep and Goat Auctions are the third Friday of every month at 6 pm sharp.
Cattle Sales start with bottle calves and then feeders (calves and yearlings). After all calves are sold, we move to heiferettes, pairs, preg-checked cows, bulls, and weigh cows. We try our best to sell animals in the order they are received. Call the auction barn office at (870) 741-6311 to see where the lineup is for the current sale day.
Sheep and Goat Auctions are typically sold in the order that they are received. Though most animals sold at this auction are sheep and goats, we also have buyers for pigs.
On Mondays we accept cows for Tuesday sales starting at 9:30 am up until 9:30 pm on the south side of the auction barn next to the office. Cattle can continually be taken for their class until the sale is over and feeders can be taken up until the Cattle Sale is over. If time is ever a conflict with you, please contact our office and we will gladly make arrangements to take them any day of the week.
Sheep and Goat Auction check-in starts at 12 pm and the auction starts promptly at 6 pm.
Checks are printed immediately after each sale to be picked up by sellers. You can come by the office right after all your animals are sold.
If you cannot pick up your check, Cattle Sale checks are mailed out on Wednesday, the day after the sale. Sheep and Goat Auction checks are mailed Friday, the night of the sale.
If you plan on having your check mailed, it is a good idea to stop by the office to make sure the ladies have the correct address for you.
Tuesday: 7 am until the end of the Cattle Auction
Fridays on Sheep and Goat Auction days: 4 pm until 8 pm, and later at their discretion.
